The projects that make up the Kingston Greenline are in various stages of planning, design and construction and all have their own separately managed timelines. Visit the City's Greenline Project Page to learn more about individual project timelines and status. A significant portion of system is expected to be completed by the end of 2020 in conjunction with the establishment of the Empire State Trail. While sections like the Midtown Linear Park and O&W Connector Trail are undeveloped (unpaved, not ADA accessible), they are open to the public.

Although trail construction and infrastructure projects have distinct completion dates, there will always be opportunities to add layers of improvements and community programming to the Kingston Greenline. The Hasbrouck-Delaware Parklet is a wonderful example of how the concept of the Greenline can be expanded to support neighborhood amenities and activate open space. The Kingston Land Trust and other community organizations will continue to identify and develop opportunities to improve the Greenline System.
